1988년 친구들끼리 첫 앨범 '거리에서'를 발표했던 그룹 동물원의 옛 멤버 박경찬이 데뷰 33년 만에 첫 솔로 앨범 '잊혀진 날들' 음원을 2021년 6월 공개한 이후 CD 음반으로도 같은 해 11월 발매한다.

1980년대 후반과 90년대를 아름답고 부드러운 포크락 음악으로 많은 이들로부터 사랑을 받은 그룹 동물원에서 1집 '거리에서'부터 1997년 7집까지 참여했던 박경찬은 그 이후 직장 생활과 개인 사업을 하며 이제는 중년의 평범한 아빠로, 그리고 남편으로 지내면서 항상 마음 속 한 구석에 자리잡고 있는 음악에 대한 애정을 지우지 못하고 최근 다시 기타를 치며 새로운 노래를 만들기 시작하였다고 한다. 이제 그의 노래들은 젊은 영혼의 아픔과 사랑, 이별의 고통, 그리고 젊음의 희망을 얘기할 수 없기에 지나온 삶의 흔적과 풍경들을 진솔하게 얘기해야 한다고 말을 한다. 그래서 그의 노래들은 오래전 사진과 일기장을 들춰 보듯 잊혀져간 아름다운 기억들을 되살리고, 앞으로 다가올 새로운 시간과 경험들을 더욱 소중히 받아들이는 계기가 될 수 있음을 느끼고 싶다고 한다.
