Legendary luxury band M.C the Max made a comeback with a full lineup after 2 years.

Returning with the regular 8th album 'Pathos', M.C the Max presents more mature music that makes the long hiatus colorless. The album name 'pathos' is a Greek word that means deep emotions such as passion or sorrow, and is the origin of 'pathos', which means emotional appeal in literary works or literary expressions. As the album name expresses, the emotions that run through the 8th album are 'sorrow', 'loneliness', and 'longing'.

Lee Soo, who is in charge of vocalist and guitarist, took on a producer for the first time since his debut in this album and tried various musical challenges while at the same time filling the color of M.C the Max more intensely. Including the title song 'Where', they won the victory with M.C the Max's classic rock ballads that they can express best, such as 'Without fail' and 'Before this night passes'. 레전드급 명품밴드 엠씨더맥스가 2년 만에 완전체로 컴백했다.

정규 8집 앨범 ‘파토스(pathos)’로 돌아오는 엠씨더맥스는 오랜 공백 기간이 무색할 만큼 더욱 성숙해진 음악을 들려준다. 앨범명 ‘파토스’는 그리스어로 열정 혹은 비애감 등 깊은 감정을 의미하는 단어로, 문학 작품이나 문학적 표현에서 정서적인 호소력을 의미하는 ‘페이소스(pathos)’의 어원이다. 앨범명이 표현하는 것처럼 8집 앨범을 관통하는 정서는 ‘비애감’, ‘쓸쓸함’, ‘그리움’이다.
