The group M&D (Miari & Dandandong), a collaboration between Trax Kim Jung-mo and Super Junior Kim Heechul, will release their first mini-album, “Home Handicrafts,” on April 20th.
In the first album “家內手工業(Homemade Crafts)”, you can meet the various charms of M&D (Miari & Dan Dandong), including the title song ‘I Wish’, rock, rock ballad, disco rock, dance, swing, bossa nova, etc. A total of 6 songs of various genres are included, so a good response is expected.
The title song 'I Wish' is a song of the swing genre that feels light and exciting with a big band feel. It is enough to feel the special musical sensibility of M&D (Miari & Dandandong) as the two members worked on the song themselves, with Kim Jung-mo in charge of composition and arrangement.
In particular, this album is a new album released in about 3 years and 10 months since the digital single 'What are you looking at' in June 2011. 첫 앨범 “家內手工業(가내수공업)”에는 타이틀 곡 ‘하고 싶어(I Wish)’를 비롯해 락, 락 발라드, 디스코 락, 댄스, 스윙, 보사노바 등 M&D(미아리&단계동)의 다채로운 매력을 만날 수 있는 다양한 장르의 총 6곡이 수록되어 있어 좋은 반응이 예상된다.
타이틀 곡 ‘하고 싶어(I Wish)’는 빅밴드 느낌의 경쾌하고 신나는 스윙 장르의 곡으로, 김희철이 직접 작사한 가사에는 자유로운 영혼으로 살았던 자신의 어린 시절을 되돌아보며 이제는 진정한 사랑을 하고 싶다는 마음을 담았으며, 작곡, 편곡은 김정모가 맡는 등 두 멤버가 직접 곡을 작업한 만큼, M&D(미아리&단계동)만의 특별한 음악적 감성을 느끼기에 충분하다.
