- Released Jeong Dong-won's first mini-album [Hand Letter]

Jeong Dong-won's first mini-album 'Hand Letter' was released. It is a physical album to be released in about 5 months since the 1st regular album 'Longing, the generously giving tree' on November 17, 2021. This album contains a total of 8 tracks including 4 sound sources and accompaniments for each song, and the songs in each track list contain messages of longing, comfort and support. The album was produced with the feeling of weaving these messages together and putting them in a handwritten letter.

This album showcases various genres such as trot, semi-trot, rock, and ballad, and you can feel the charm of Jeong Dong-won. First of all, track 1 'I am Peter Pan' is a rock genre song with an exciting and fast tempo, and you can listen to it very fresh as it is the first genre that Jeong Dong-won introduces in an official album. 'Even though I'm young, I know' is a semi-trot song with a funky sound, like a letter to adults who give up their dreams and live. 'Wildflower' is a regular 8th adult song by singer 'Joo Byeong-seon', and was reborn as a remake of Jeong Dong-won's version.

The title song 『Haze Flower』 is like a lyric poem that encompasses the innocence we have forgotten and love for humans. 'Haze flower', whose flower language means 'longing heart', blooms in yellow among unknown wild grasses on a certain roadside every spring. Its color and shape, which are small and modest rather than flashy, symbolize a familiar and comfortable family, childhood lover or friend. This song does not have a dramatic composition and narrative, but instead resembles a nursery rhyme or lullaby sung by a mother in a low voice to soothe a crying child. It is characterized by maximizing the lyrical beauty of children's songs as if a child stops crying and falls asleep peacefully. In the current music market, where popular similar songs are quickly mass-produced and easily forgotten, you can listen to them at any time, such as 「Island Baby」 and 「Hometown Spring」, which are loved regardless of generation and era, and are loved by children as well as people who are tired of life. I wanted to make a song that calmly touches even the hearts of adults. From this starting point, the song 『Haze Flower』 was born, and although it is still immature, the sensibility of Jung Dong-won, who is gradually growing from a boy, fits more delicately and sweetly. 정동원 첫번째 미니앨범 '손편지'가 발매했다. 지난 2021년 11월 17일 정규 1집 앨범 '그리움, 아낌없이 주는 나무' 이후 약 5개월만에 발매하는 피지컬 앨범이다. 이 앨범은 총 4곡의 음원과 각 곡들의 반주까지 더해져 8트랙이 수록되어 있으며, 각 트랙리스트의 곡들은 사모하는 마음과 위로, 응원의 메시지를 담고 있다. 이 메시지들을 엮어 손편지에 담는 느낌으로 앨범을 제작하였다.

이 앨범은 트로트, 세미 트로트, 락, 발라드 등 다양한 장르를 선보이며 다채로운 정동원의 매력을 느낄 수 있다. 먼저 1번 트랙 '나는 피터팬'은 신나고 빠른 템포의 락 장르 곡으로, 정동원이 정식 앨범에서 처음 선보이는 장르인만큼 매우 신선하게 들을 수 있다. '어려도 알 건 알아요'는 펑키한 사운드의 세미 트로트 곡으로, 꿈을 접고 살아가는 어른들에게 보내는 편지와 같은 곡이다. '들꽃'은 가수 '주병선'의 정규 8집 성인가요 곡으로, 정동원 버전의 리메이크 곡으로 재탄생했다.
