Gen Hoshino's 6th full-length album [Gen], which will be released after about 6 years, will be licensed and released in Korea on July 16, 2025.
Starting with "Create" released in 2021, in addition to singles such as "Fushigi", "Comedy", and "Eureka", the album includes a total of 16 unreleased songs that are being revealed for the first time, including "Mad Hope (feat. Gen Hoshino(호시노 겐/星野 源)이 약 6년 만에 발표하는 6번째 정규 앨범 [Gen]이 2025년 7월 16일 국내에서 라이선스 발매된다.
2021년 발매된 '創造(Create)'를 시작으로 '不思議(Fushigi)', '喜劇(Comedy)', 'Eureka' 등의 싱글 곡들 외에도, 2025년 5월부터 개최하여 오는 9월 첫 내한 공연이 예정된 투어 "Gen Hoshino presents MAD HOPE"의 타이틀에도 사용된 'Mad Hope (feat. Louis Cole, Sam Gendel, Sam Wilkes)' 등, 이번 앨범을 통해 처음으로 공개되는 미발표곡들을 포함 총 16곡이 수록되었다.
특히 이영지, Louis Cole, Camilo, Cordae, UMI, DJ Jazzy Jeff 등 월드와이드한 피쳐링 아티스트들의 참여로 더욱 주목이 모아지고 있다.
