<응급남녀> O.S.T 앨범에는 음원으로 출시되었던 O.S.T 곡들은 물론 드라마 속 인물들의 섬세한 감정을 대변한 스코어 곡들까지 총망라해 수록되었다. 특히 <응급남녀> 사운드트랙은 영화음악계 미다스의 손이라 불리는 김태성 음악감독과 CJ E&M의 공동 프로듀싱 아래 각각의 테마를 바탕으로 기획되어 음악적 완성도를 더욱 높였다. 헤어졌던 인연이 다시 사랑을 키워 나가는 달콤한 로맨스에 분위기를 더할 러브송은 전략적인 기획을 통해 수십여 개의 후보곡들을 거쳐 각각 임정희와 최진혁 남녀 버전의 '꽃향기', 박시환의 '그때 우리 사랑은', 주아의 'I am', 써드코스트의 'Love Again'으로 완성되어졌다. 사랑을 느낄 때의 설렘, 주체할 수 없는 감정으로 서로에게 달려가는 설렘, 사랑하는 연인과 미워하는 연인의 감정이 하나로 모여있는 러브 테마와 멜로에 경쾌한 템포감을 줄 수 있는 일렉트로닉 러브송은 주연 배우와 최정상 보컬리스트부터 OST로 데뷔하는 신인과 인디계의 숨은 고수까지 다양한 아티스트 라인업으로 꾸며져 다채로운 음악으로 선보여졌다.
