Description (Translated):
The band Richman and Groovenice will release a new EP on October 4, 2025.This album contains six songs that attempt to combine various genres with blues as their roots.
The opening track, "Slap It!", features bass percussion and electric guitar slap rhythms, complemented by resonator slide guitar, creating a unique sound. The title track, "Soul Sucker," captures the band's signature energy within a traditional electric blues style, and its memorable ending is captivating. "Neo-meo-neo-meo (Cross The Line)", featuring Show Me the Money 7 runner-up and rapper LOOPY, showcases a fresh collaboration between hip-hop and blues. The following track, "Take Me On," boasts a funky groove and outstanding instrumentation, while "Saetaryeong (Bird Song: Korean Traditional, Blues ver.)" adds a unique touch by reinterpreting traditional Korean folk songs in a blues style. The final track, "Keep On Walkin' Down Your Road," creates a comfortable and lyrical atmosphere with country-inspired blues.
This album was recorded in the US and Korea, and was mixed and mastered by Dennis Cotton, drummer from the British blues rock band Savoy Brown, and Eric Robert, pianist for Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, participated in the session to enhance the quality.

밴드 리치맨과 그루브나이스가 2025년 10월 4일 새 EP이번 앨범은 블루스를 뿌리로 하여 다양한 장르와 결합을 시도한 6곡을 담아냈다.
오프닝 트랙 「Slap It!」은 베이스의 퍼커션연주와 일렉기타로 선보이는 슬랩리듬 연주 위에 레조네이터 슬라이드 기타가 더해져 독창적인 사운드를 완성한다. 타이틀곡 「Soul Sucker」는 전통적인 일렉트릭 블루스 스타일 속에 밴드 특유의 에너지를 담아낸 곡으로, 인상적인 엔딩이 매력적이다. 쇼미더머니7 준우승자 래퍼 LOOPY가 참여한 「너머너머 (Cross The Line)」는 힙합과 블루스가 만난 신선한 콜라보레이션을 보여준다. 이어지는 「Take Me On」은 펑키한 그루브와 연주력이 돋보이며, 「새타령 (Bird Song: Korean Traditional, Blues ver.)」은 한국 전통 민요를 블루스 스타일로 재해석해 특별한 색채를 더했다. 마지막 곡 「Keep On Walkin' Down Your Road」는 컨트리풍의 블루스로 편안하고 서정적인 분위기를 자아낸다.
이번 앨범은 미국과 한국에서 녹음되었으며, 영국 블루스록 밴드 Savoy Brown출신의 드러머 Dennis Cotton이 믹싱과 마스터링을 맡고, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram의 피아니스트였던 Eric Robert가 세션으로 참여해 완성도를 높였다.
