Paul Kim's first full-length album 'Tonight' will be released on Tuesday, February 13th. 'Tonight' is a complete album consisting of 11 songs, including the regular album Part.1 'Road' and Part.2 'Tunnel' released online, as well as the intro song that will be released for the first time. 오는 2월 13일 화요일 폴킴의 첫번째 정규앨범 '오늘 밤'을 발매한다. '오늘 밤'은 온라인으로 공개된 정규앨범 Part.1 ‘길’, Part.2 ‘터널’ 그리고 처음 공개되는 인트로곡까지 총 11곡으로 이루어진 완성본이다. 앨범 속에는 아직 공개되지 않은 비밀이 숨겨져있는데 폴킴은 풀버전이 발매되고야 비로소 이번 앨범이 완성된다고 말한다.

다음은 폴킴이 직접 전하는 곡 소개이다.

오랜 친구를 만나고 돌아오는 길에 쓴 가사에요. 지금의 그는 제가 기억하는 예전의 모습과 많이 달랐습니다. 외롭고 쓸쓸해 보였습니다.

03. 좋은 사람 (작사: 폴킴 / 작곡: 폴킴, Donnie J)
나를 더 나은 사람으로 만드는 사람, 좋은 사람을 보는 눈이 생긴 것 같아요.

궁상맞다 할지 모르지만 늘 그렇게 외롭고 서러웠네요. 혼자인 것 같은 날이 길었고 그럴 때면 술 한잔 말고는 아무것도 위로가 되질 않더라구요. 게다가 이 곡은 속상하게 타이틀 경쟁에서도 쓴 잔을 마셔야 했답니다.

혜화역 사거리, 늦은 밤 친구를 기다리며 썼던 곡이에요. 정확히는 모르겠지만 그 날 마음속에 붙잡고 있던 무언가를 떠나보낸듯 싶어요.

살면서 터널 안에 갇힌듯한 순간이 있죠. 그 답답함을 묵묵히 이겨내자, 혹은 탈출해 저 먼 우주로 떠나자 식의 이야기가 아니라 어차피 기다릴 거 속 시원하게 힘들다 인정하고 그동안 춤이나 추자고 말하고 싶었어요. 가장 어려운 거지만 '피할 수 없다면 즐겨라'.
