There's something that I really appreciate about Kingdom's albums and think they do really well with. First, they've used different images (such as a close up shot of ice textures and walking in a dark cave) to give us a sense of the mood and atmosphere so we can get an idea of the possible setting. There was definitely some storytelling involved as you flip through the pages. Secondly, the packaging is a lovely surprise. When you open and put both versions together, it forms a board game that you can actually play. The fonts used throughout the book are also very smart! Since this is Ivan's era, the font resembles Russian writing, but is still eligible enough to read. The photocards themselves can also be used to play the board game as they have instructions written on the back. There's so many little details in this album that can be appreciated!
Absolutely love this group and bought this to complete their discography. Their music is amazing and the album is lovely; such a unique concept.
