This album consists of 5 tracks written and composed by Kim Feel as a singer-songwriter without regret. Crossing genres such as rock ballad, progressive rock, and deep house, each track contains his charm and story with Kim Pil's 'monster' voice and a restrained yet dramatic instrument composition.

EJ SHOW, who has a musical relationship with Kim Pil, took charge of producing the music for this album as well, arranging all the songs, and engineer Oh Hyung-seok, who participated in the mixing of Big Bang, Seo Taiji, Younha, Jung Joon-young, 10CM, and Daybreak album, mixed the songs in the album. He took over and added to the charm of the song.

The title song 'Seongbuk-dong' is a lyrical song that reminds me of the place where the most beautiful memories of Pil Kim's 'Youth' are located. Along with EJ SHOW, the producer of the entire album, music director Lee Sang-hoon, who worked together in arranging the 1988 OST “Youth,” which connects Kim Pil’s tone and emotions of the drama, participated in the production and string arrangement of this song to create the mood of “Seongbuk-dong.” together created

from Feel “A story about 'love' I think”
It is a small-scale rock ballad with electric guitar sound and Kim Feel's voice.
In the end, the ending, 'I still don't know much about love', expresses the longing and lonely feelings that everyone feels after love ends, and the chorus of Feel Kim in the second half is charming.

2. Seongbuk-dong
from Feel “Seongbuk-dong is a neighborhood I personally visit often. A song I wrote by adding my daily life to the image of a lover I saw there.”

It is a self-composed song that expresses the inner conflict and anguish of 'Youth Kim Feel' with the most unique color among his songs. A unique sound was realized by harmonizing progressive rock sound with strong vocals and guitar performance of Feel Kim, Yichae Kang's violin, and Sangji Koh's bandoneon.

5. I Feel You

오디션 프로그램으로 대중 앞에 나타나 ‘고드름 보컬’이라는 호칭을 얻으며 이전에 본 적 없는 색깔 있는 목소리와 실력으로 주목 받고 있는 가수 김필이 본인의 이야기를 담은 미니앨범 [from Feel]을 선보인다.

마음 한가운데, 방 안, 머릿속… ‘청춘’ 김필의 모든 것을 꺼내어 심혈을 기울여 만든 미니앨범 [from Feel]. 12월, 오롯한 김필의 이야기가 도착했다. ‘김필로부터’

이번 앨범은 김필이 싱어송라이터로서의 면모를 유감 없이 발휘하며 직접 작사?작곡한 5개의 트랙으로 구성되어 있다. 락 발라드, 프로그레시브 락, 딥 하우스 등의 장르를 넘나들며, 김필의 ‘괴물’ 보이스와, 절제되면서도 드라마틱한 악기 구성으로 각 트랙마다 그의 매력과 스토리를 담았다.

김필과 음악적 인연을 이어가고 있는 EJ SHOW 가 이번 앨범에서도 음악 프로듀싱을 맡아 전곡을 편곡하였으며, 빅뱅?서태지의 라이브와 윤하?정준영?10CM?데이 브레이크 앨범의 믹싱에 참여한 오형석 엔지니어가 앨범 수록 곡들의 믹스를 맡아 곡의 매력을 더해주었다.

타이틀곡 ‘성북동’은 김필의 ‘청춘’에서 가장 아름다웠던 한 자락의 추억이 서려있는 곳을 떠올리며 쓴 곡으로 자신의 추억을 이야기하는 동시에 듣는 이들의 추억도 끄집어내는 서정적인 곡이다. 앨범 전체 프로듀서 EJ SHOW와 함께, 김필의 음색과 드라마의 감정을 이어준 응답하라 1988 OST “청춘”의 편곡으로 호흡을 맞췄던 이상훈 음악감독이 이 곡의 프로듀스 및 스트링 편곡에 참여하여 ‘성북동’의 무드를 함께 만들어냈다.

일렉트릭 기타 사운드와 김필의 목소리가 어우러진 소규모 락 발라드 곡이다.

2.성북동

어쿠스틱 피아노와 기타 사운드로 잔잔하게 시작되어, 오케스트라 스트링, 일렉트릭 기타 등의 편곡이 가미되며 후반부로 흘러가면서 드라마틱한 구성으로 마무리된다.

곡의 흐름에 따라 헤어진 연인에 대한 그리움이 고조되는 한편, 섬세한 김필의 음색과 솔직한 노랫말, 절제되면서도 다이나믹한 스트링 선율이 서정적인 조화를 이루며 잔잔한 감동을 준다.
