2016년 5월 말, XIA가 네 번째 정규 앨범 < XIGNATURE >를 발표한다.

XIA와 SIGNATURE의 합성어인 < XIGNATURE >는 오직 XIA만이 할 수 있는 음악이라는 의미를 담고 있다. “’나만의 스타일’에 안주하지 않고 보다 차별화된 색깔을 선보이고 싶었다”는 XIA는 이번 앨범에서 댄스 퍼포먼스 곡은 물론 HipHop, EDM, R&B, Urban, Tango 등 다양한 장르에 도전해 보다 음악적 스펙트럼을 넓혔다.

발표하는 앨범마다 여러 아티스트와의 콜라보레이션 작업을 펼쳐왔던 XIA. 이번 앨범에도 자신만의 독특한 음악색을 지닌 싱어송라이터인 선우정아, 진한 감성으로 리스너들을 사로잡는 아티스트 정키 등 새로운 아티스트와의 작업곡은 물론 XIA의 자작곡 등 올여름을 뜨겁게 달굴 13 트랙이 완성되었다.
