ELO(엘로)는 그간 싱글 < Blur >, < Denim Heather T-Shirts >에 이어 < Parachute >, < Your Love >, < F.W.B >를 통해 본인만의 음악적 감성을 꾸준히 선보인 바 있다. 그의 첫 EP [8 Femmes]는 제목 그대로 8명의 여인에 대한 이야기가 담긴 앨범으로 R&B, Soul을 기반으로 엘로 특유의 우울하고도 강렬하고 담백하고도 세련된 감성이 짙게 배어있는 8개의 트랙으로 구성됐다. 앨범의 전체 프로듀싱은 ELO(엘로), 그리고 그와 오랜 시간 함께 호흡을 맞춰온 GRAY(그레이)가 공동 프로듀싱을 맡아 진행하였으며 박재범, 사이먼 도미닉, GRAY(그레이), Hoody(후디), Paloalto(팔로알토)가 피쳐링에 참여하여 앨범을 더욱 풍성하게 만들었다.
