디어클라우드는 2013년부터 4년이 넘는 시간 동안
수 많은 노래들을 짓고 소리를 맞춰보며
우리의 한계를 넘나들었어요.
힘들었고 지치기도 했습니다.
멈추지 않는 의문 속에 의심이 들기도 했습니다.
오랜 시간 들으며 만졌던 노래들이 시간이 지남에도
그 고유의 색이 바래지지 않는다고 느껴질 때쯤
불안했던 마음이 점차 확신으로 바뀌어가고
이제는 때가 되었다는 믿음이 생기기 시작했습니다.
처음엔 EP로 계획되어있었던 앨범은
점차 살이 붙고 명확한 대선을 그려나가며
꽉 찬 정규앨범의 모양이 되었습니다.
시대의 흐름과는 반대될지라도
예전처럼 긴 호흡으로 우리의 메세지를 전하고 싶었어요.
저는 아직도 노래가 세상을 바꾸는, 한 사람의 세계를 변화시킬 수 있다는 희망을 갖고 있습니다.
