새 앨범 ‘SUNRISE’는 6월의 신곡 ‘반드시 웃는다’와 ‘오늘은 내게’를 포함한 총 14트랙의 정규 앨범으로, Every DAY6 프로젝트의 일환으로 1월부터 6월까지 발표한 주옥 같은 곡들을 차곡히 담아낸다.

7일 발표하는 6월의 신곡 ‘반드시 웃는다’는 이별한 연인 앞에서 애써 마음을 다잡으며 아픔을 뒤로 하고 웃어 보이는 안타까운 마음을 노래한다. 다채로운 변화를 가미하며 곡을 리드하는 드럼사운드가 특징으로, ‘웃는다’ 라는 노랫말에 애잔함을 실은 보컬과 대비되어 더욱 서정적인 느낌을 자아낸다. ‘오늘은 내게’는 힘든 사랑에 지친 친구이자 짝사랑에게 마음을 전하는 노래로 DAY6의 넘버 중 록 분위기를 가장 강하게 전한다.
