Time flows in one way or another. For some, it's just slow, and for others, it passes in a blink of an eye, as if teleportation took place. No one can be free from the gravity of time. So do I, and so do my cats and my friends. However, a lot of time has passed, but they remain the same as if they were distorted in time. Listening to their new song, it seems like they are scolding us who have changed too much with their unchanging voices.
I really love their music. While working as a radio music writer at dawn, I used to play it a lot because I was biased towards my emotions. But at some point, their music disappeared from my life. I've been too busy and the world is faster than ever before. In that time, they too were swept away somewhere in the world. I didn't try to find them, and the world that had changed too much didn't bring them back to the stage. That's how we forgot their existence and made them people of the past.
Like stars that have risen again, they have risen again. Their voices were still pure and sparkling. What I thought while listening to the new song was that it was us, not the girls, that changed. We didn't look for them, but they were always there. I don't know how their new songs will be accepted in a world that has changed from before, but I'm satisfied. Because even in a world that has changed enough and people's tastes, everything they have will still be useful.
A lot of things have changed too. In particular, we have changed a lot and become a bit cocky. However, listening to As One's songs, we can get a little comfort and think at least once about what doesn't change.
Now that the words 'development', 'progress', 'innovation', and 'fusion' are overflowing, I feel that at least in their new songs, they can still shine without changing.

시간은 어떤 식으로든 흐른다. 누군가에게는 더디기만 하고 또 다른 누군가에게는 순간이동을 한 것처럼 깜짝할 사이에 지나가버린다. 그 누구도 시간의 중력 안에서 자유로울 순 없다. 나도 그렇고, 나의 고양이들과 내 친구들에게도 그렇다. 하지만 많은 시간이 흘렀지만 그녀들은 시간 속에서 왜곡되어버린 것처럼 그대로였다. 그녀들의 새 노래를 듣고 있으면 너무 변해버린 우리를 변하지 않은 그녀들의 목소리로 나무라는 것만 같다.
나는 그녀들의 음악을 진심으로 사랑했다. 새벽 라디오 음악 작가로 일하면서도 내 감정에 치우쳐 많이 틀곤 했다. 하지만 언제부턴가 그녀들의 음악은 내 생활에서 사라져버렸다. 나는 너무 바빠졌고 세상도 이전보다 더 빨라졌다. 그런 시간 안에서 그녀들도 세상 어딘가로 쓸려가버렸다. 나는 그녀들을 애써 찾지 않았고 너무 변해버린 세상도 그녀들을 다시 무대 위로 불러내지 않았다. 그렇게 우리는 그녀들의 존재를 잊었고 그녀들을 과거의 사람으로 만들었다.
다시 떠오른 별처럼 그녀들이 다시 떠올랐다. 그녀들의 목소리는 여전히 순수하게 반짝이고 있었다. 새 노래를 들으며 드는 생각은 변한건 그녀들이 아니고 우리였다는 생각이 들었다. 우리들이 찾지 않았을 뿐 그녀들은 늘 그 자리에 있었다. 그녀들의 새 노래들이 예전과 달라진 세상에서 어떤 식으로 받아들여질지 모르지만 나는 만족한다. 왜냐하면 충분히 변해버린 세상과 사람들의 취향 안에서도 그녀들이 가진 모든 것이 여전히 유용할 것이기 때문이다.
많은 것들이 너무 변했다. 특히 우리가 많이 변했고 조금 건방져졌다. 하지만 그녀들 그러니깐 애즈원의 노래를 들으며 우리는 조금은 위로받고 변하지 않는 것이 무엇인지 한번 정도는 생각할 수 있다.
'발전'과 '진보'와 '혁신', 그리고 '융합'이라는 말들이 넘쳐나는 지금 적어도 그녀들의 새 노래들에서는 여전히 변하지 않고 빛날 수 있다는 걸 느낀다.
