As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. has removed the $800 De Minimis exemption. This means that all shipments to the United States are now subject to customs duties, including products made in Korea, which currently carry a 15% reciprocal tariff.
In the U.S., shipments can be handled in two ways:
-
DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid, aka DAP): Duties are paid by the customer upon delivery. This can sometimes cause customs clearance delays (such as ID verification) and may result in additional courier fees.
-
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): Duties are prepaid at checkout, and shipments are delivered smoothly with no extra steps or charges upon arrival.
To minimize confusion and ensure faster delivery for our U.S. customers, starting September 11, 2025, all orders shipped to the U.S. will be sent via DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), regardless of the carrier.
This means you’ll pay the required duties upfront when placing your order, and your package will arrive without additional costs or delays.
If you are ever charged unexpected fees during delivery, please contact us—we’ll investigate and refund any improper charges.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support 💜
