Hyukoh and Sunset Rollercoaster, who released their project album [AAA] in July last year, have released their first live album [AAA LIVE] containing live performances from their Seoul concert [AAA TOUR BY HYUKOH ＆ SUNSET ROLLERCOASTER, 2025 - SEOUL], which concludes their 7-month Asia tour.

As the profile photo and stage concept was 'music troupe', the 10 musicians including Hyuk Oh (Oh Hyuk, Lim Hyun-jae, Lim Dong-gun, Lee In-woo, guest member JNKYRD) and Sunset Rollercoaster (Kuo-Hung Tseng, Hung-Li Chen, Shao-Hsuan Wang, Tsun-Lung Lo, Hao-Ting Huang) met audiences everywhere, performing 17 times in 11 cities in Asia from September last year to April 2025.

Just as they record precious moments from enjoyable travel destinations, Hyukoh and Sunset Rollercoaster planned the [AAA LIVE] album to share the joy of the performance with more people while commemorating their long journey of approximately 55,000 kilometers. The sound work for this [AAA LIVE], which was first revealed at the previous [AAA TOUR BY HYUKOH ＆ SUNSET ROLLERCOASTER, 2025 - SEOUL] performance, involved Hyukoh's long-time collaborator, sound engineer Norman Nitzsche, as well as many specialists from various countries. They went through meticulous pre-mixing, mixing, and mastering several times to fully capture the advantages of a live performance, including the sense of presence and liveliness, while also allowing the pleasure of listening to the songs and sounds of the 10 performers in a rich and harmonious manner. The two bands put more effort than ever into the arrangements to ideally play each other's songs together for this performance. The [AAA LIVE] album includes the opening performance From [AAA] to the full song and representative songs of Hyuk Oh and Sunset Roller Coaster, the entire 30-song setlist is included to fully convey the flow of the 150-minute performance. The rich sound and the wonder of the arrangement that could only be felt in the performance can be experienced again in this [AAA LIVE] album.

Also, the [AAA LIVE] album includes a Blu-ray disc containing the live footage of the 2024 Seoul concert. Two Hyuk Oh documentaries were filmed/directed, and the title song of [AAA] As the music video director and videographer for [AAA TOUR], DQM, who was present for all the important moments of the concert, captured the 10 musicians’ rapport and moments of immersion alone through various shots, and connected them with exquisite and loving editing. This special disc, which runs for 2 hours and 30 minutes without a dull moment, features a variety of scenes, including the spectacular views created by stage designer Yeo Shin-dong and styling director Kim Ye-young, as well as details in every corner of the stage created by some 30 AAA creative crew members, as well as the subtle expressions and movements of the 10 musicians seen up close. The intro animation by artist Noh Sang-ho, who has frequently collaborated with Hyuk Oh on album covers, and creator Bart van Gneukten (IGOBART) who provided the voices, is also a hidden gift.
The [AAA LIVE] physical album was produced through collaboration between two artists who are collaborators of [AAA], Youngna Kim and Chanhee Hong. The AAA logo designed by Youngna Kim is a combination of three types of so-called 'Asian style' fonts, containing a subjective and alternative perspective on Asia from a Western-centric perspective. The [AAA LIVE] physical album, which has this logo engraved on the front of the tin case, includes moments of the performance captured by photographer Han Dasom and images that Hong Chanhee transformed and reworked using generative AI.
This live album, which contains 2 hours and 30 minutes of time in a metal box as if storing a fragile precious item, was first revealed at [AAA TOUR BY HYUKOH ＆ SUNSET ROLLERCOASTER, 2025 - SEOUL], and will be available for online pre-order at various retailers from June 10, 2025.

프로필 사진과 무대의 컨셉이 '음악 유랑단'이었던 만큼, 혁오(오혁, 임현제, 임동건, 이인우, 객원 멤버 정크야드JNKYRD)와 선셋 롤러코스터(Kuo-Hung Tseng, Hung-Li Chen, Shao-Hsuan Wang, Tsun-Lung Lo, Hao-Ting Huang) 10명의 뮤지션은 작년 9월부터 2025년 4월까지 아시아 11개 도시에서 17번의 공연을 하며 곳곳의 관객을 만났다.

[AAA LIVE] 피지컬 앨범은 [AAA]의 협업자인 두 아티스트, 김영나와 홍찬희의 협업으로 제작되었다. 김영나가 디자인한 AAA 로고는 세 가지 타입의 소위 '아시아 스타일' 서체를 조합해 만든 것으로, 서구 중심적 시각에서 바라보는 아시아에 대한 주체적이고 대안적인 시선을 담고 있다. 틴케이스 전면에 이 로고를 음각한 [AAA LIVE] 피지컬 앨범 내지에는 포토그래퍼 한다솜이 포착한 공연의 순간과, 이를 홍찬희가 생성형 AI로 변형 재작업한 이미지들을 수록했다.
