BAP, who cried out about youthful wandering and friendship with the title song 'Young, Wild & Free' of their fourth mini-album 'MATRIX' last November, is making a comeback as a gentle 'milk man'. The pre-released contents such as schedule posters, album previews, and teaser images were enough to break the stereotype that 'BAP = strong music' was followed like a formula.
Along with challenging a new music style, BAP's run towards the world has also begun. As if to prove their initial passion of 'conquering the world with music', they are meeting fans all over the world on an even larger scale. Under the slogan 'BAP LIVE ON EARTH 2016 WORLD TOUR', a grand tour of 30 concerts in 15 countries on 5 continents will unfold, starting in Korea on February 20th, followed by the US, Mexico, Poland, Russia, and New Zealand. Just like the meaning of the album title which means 'festival', the fifth mini album 'CARNIVAL' is composed of tracks that will make your heart race from beginning to end. Starting with the intro 'Today' that is reminiscent of the opening BGM in a movie, 'Carnival' that compares the Earth to a 'globe' and shouts to go anywhere, the title song 'Feel So Good' that expresses the excitement for a crush with a funky rhythm guitar, 'Go' with an impressive cheerful whistle sound in the introduction, 'Albatross' that is based on British Pop, and 'My Girl' which is a serenade dedicated to a loved one.
Among them, the title song 'Feel So Good' is a song where you can feel the bright and cheerful vibe to your heart's content with the harmony of the rhythm guitar that has a FUNKY & RETRO feel at the same time and the bass guitar that leads the entire song. Under the theme of 'thrill', the repeated chorus of "I only want you, when I see you, I Feel So Good" is also a sweet lyric that seems to gently call spring to the listener's ears.

The fifth mini-album 'CARNIVAL' is filled with BAP's new musical attempts. The perfect synergy effect was created by the harmony of composers Park Soo-seok, In-woo, and Kim Chang-rak, who have worked with BAP in the past, the fantastic combination of Star Trek, youngest member ZELO who participated as a lyricist, and Bang Yong-guk who led the entire album.
The chorus line that they have participated in since the last album 'MATRIX' - especially in the second track 'Carnival', all the members participated in the chorus and conveyed the members' overflowing energy for the entire three minutes, and in the fifth track 'Albatross', Jongup, who is in charge of performance, passionately sang the chorus for the first time since his debut. 지난해 11월 네 번째 미니앨범 ‘MATRIX’의 타이틀 곡 ‘Young, Wild & Free’로 청춘의 방황과 우정을 외쳤던 B.A.P가 부드러운 ‘밀크남’이 되어 컴백한다. 앞서 공개된 스케줄 포스터, 앨범 프리뷰, 티저 이미지 등의 선공개 컨텐츠는 그간 ‘B.A.P=센 음악’이라며 공식처럼 따라 붙던 선입견을 타파하기 충분했다.
새로운 음악 스타일에 도전함과 동시에 세계를 향한 B.A.P의 질주도 시작됐다. ‘음악으로 세상을 정복하겠다.’는 초기의 열정을 증명하듯 한층 커진 스케일로 전 세계 팬들을 찾는 것. ‘B.A.P LIVE ON EARTH 2016 WORLD TOUR’라는 슬로건 아래 2월 20일 한국을 시작으로 미국, 멕시코, 폴란드, 러시아, 뉴질랜드 등 총 5개 대륙 15개국 30회에 이르는 대장정이 펼쳐진다. ‘축제’를 뜻하는 앨범 타이틀의 의미처럼, 다섯 번째 미니앨범 ‘CARNIVAL’은 처음부터 끝까지 가슴을 두근거리게 하는 트랙들로 구성됐다. 영화 속 오프닝 BGM을 연상하게 하는 인트로 ‘Today’를 시작으로 지구를 ‘지구본’에 빗대 어디든 떠나자고 외치는 ‘Carnival’, 펑키한 리듬기타로 좋아하는 상대에 대한 설레는 마음을 표현한 타이틀 곡 ‘Feel So Good’, 도입부 경쾌한 휘파람 소리가 인상적인 ‘Go’와 British Pop에 기본을 둔 ‘Albatross’, 사랑하는 상대에게 바치는 세레나데 ‘My Girl’이 그것이다.
그 중에서도 타이틀 곡 ‘Feel So Good’은 FUNKY&RETRO 느낌을 동시에 지닌 리듬 기타와 곡 전체를 이끌어가는 베이스 기타의 조화로 밝고 경쾌한 바이브를 마음껏 느낄 수 있는 곡이다. ‘설렘’이라는 주제 아래 “너만을 원해 너를 볼 땐 I Feel So Good”이라며 반복되는 후렴구 역시 달달한 가사로 듣는 이의 귓가에 살그머니 봄을 부르는 듯하다.
