DAY6 member Young K will release his first mini-album 'Eternal' on September 6 and debut as a solo artist.

Young K debuted in the band DAY6 in September 2015 and showed off his deep musicality and special sensibility by consistently participating in writing lyrics and composing for each album as well as outstanding vocal and instrumental skills. After working on the group's representative songs such as 'Congratulations', 'It Was Pretty', 'Become One Page', and 'Zombie', DAY6's first unit DAY6 (Even of Day) with Wonpil and Dowoon from August 2020 ( DAY6 (Even of Day))'s two mini-albums also showed their names on all track credits, proving their outstanding qualities as singer-songwriters. And in September 2021, he finally made his debut as a solo artist, releasing an album that summarizes the music history he has been writing so far, and once again highlights the true nature of singer-songwriter Young K.

Young K created a more 'Young K-like' result by directly conceiving the direction of the work and the album name, including writing lyrics and composing for all songs in the 1st mini album 'Eternal'. Conceived from his real name, Kang Young-hyun, he directly named Shin Bo-myeong with the English word meaning 'eternity', and added sincerity by honestly containing the inner worries and stories that the human Kang Young-hyun tells honestly. In particular, in this album, the sincerity of 'I want to sing forever' was fully revealed for the fans who send infinite love and support.

The title song 'I'll Hug You Until the End' is characterized by an emotional rock sound and EMO hip-hop rhythm in the chorus, and it is a song that swears to protect the person you love even if everything is broken.

The first solo album includes the title song 'I'll Hug You Until the End', 'Best Song', 'Love Freezes to Death', 'Microphone (Feat. Down (Dvwn))' (Microphone), 'Want to Love You' (Want to Love) Yu), 'Come as it is', and 'Sleep well, my dear', a total of 7 songs were included. The owner of the album, Young K, who was in charge of writing and composing all the songs, joined forces with leading writers such as Hong Ji-sang, HotSauce, Jeon Da-sol (Sol Sire), and Juk-jae to improve the musical perfection.

DAY6(데이식스) 멤버 Young K(영케이)가 9월 6일 첫 미니 앨범 'Eternal'(이터널)을 발매하고 솔로 아티스트로 데뷔한다.

Young K는 2015년 9월 밴드 DAY6로 데뷔해 탁월한 보컬, 악기 실력은 물론 매 앨범 꾸준히 작사, 작곡에 참여해 깊은 음악성과 특별한 감성을 뽐냈다. 'Congratulations', '예뻤어', '한 페이지가 될 수 있게', 'Zombie' 등 그룹의 대표곡을 작업한데 이어 2020년 8월부터 원필, 도운과 함께 한 DAY6 첫 유닛 DAY6 (Even of Day)(데이식스 (이븐 오브 데이))의 두 장의 미니 앨범에도 모든 수록곡 크레디트에 이름을 올리며 싱어송라이터로서 뛰어난 자질을 증명했다. 그리고 2021년 9월, 드디어 솔로 아티스트로서 데뷔를 맞이해 지금까지 차곡차곡 써 내려간 음악 히스토리를 집약한 앨범을 발표하고 싱어송라이터 Young K의 진면목을 다시 한번 빛낸다.

Young K는 미니 1집 'Eternal' 전곡 작사, 작곡을 비롯해 작품의 방향성과 앨범명을 직접 구상하며 보다 'Young K 다운' 결과물을 탄생시켰다. 자신의 본명 강영현에서 착안해 '영원'이라는 뜻의 영단어로 신보명을 직접 네이밍했고 인간 강영현이 솔직하게 들려주는 내면의 고민과 이야기들을 진솔하게 담아 진정성을 더했다. 특히 이번 음반에는 무한한 사랑과 응원을 보내주는 팬들을 위해 '영원히 노래하고 싶다'는 진심이 고스란히 드러났다.
