Kim Tatdol's first EP [COBALT], which received much love with 'Let's Dance on the Rainy Streets', is now celebrating its 3rd anniversary.

The Cobalt Album was created in the container room of the band where Kim Teutdol was active during his high school days. I stayed and stayed with the band members I was active in for several days to arrange and record all the songs. The reason for leaving the good studio behind and sticking to working in a small band room was to evoke the rebellious nostalgia of 90s DIY music. This album, which even the production process was 'cobalt', became an opportunity to attract attention to Kim Tatdol not only in Korea but also overseas.

Why is it so difficult to love myself first before loving someone else? Now I want to shout out that I am more important than anything else.

3. Let’s dance on the rainy street
It suddenly rained. I couldn't bring an umbrella because of the unexpected rain. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to just soak in the rain. I walked endlessly in the rain while listening to my favorite song. By the time we arrived, there was a rainbow in the sky.

4. Rainy Mangwon-ro
I spent the most time in Mangwon-dong while making this album. I want to listen to it again someday and think of us back then.

5. Flying
It's a night when you want to see someone but can't think of the person you want to see. I hope that someone will listen to my music and fall asleep peacefully with my prayers as their pillow.

※ Poor playback
1) If you are using a turntable without a tone arm or weight adjustment function (mainly all-in-one models), a bouncing phenomenon may occur when playing tracks with large differences in dynamic sound. This is mostly caused by the light tone arm weight.
Returns/exchanges are not possible for defective playback caused by device problems, so we recommend playing on a device with an adjustable tone arm.
2) Discs may not play smoothly due to static electricity and dust. Most problems can be resolved by removing them with a dedicated product.

1) The disc surface may become uneven or curved. Returns or exchanges are only possible if there is a problem with playback.
2) In some cases, the disc center hole diameter is made small to minimize distortion of the playback sound range and remain as consistent as possible even during repeated playback. If it does not fit the turntable spindle, adjust the center hole using a dedicated product.
3) Occasionally, there may be fine scratches left on the disc or the finish may not be clean. Returns or exchanges are only possible if there is a problem with playback.

1) The actual color of the color disc may differ from the web image.
2) Due to the nature of color discs, there may be color differences between albums during the production process.
3) Colored discs may contain small dots or other color dyes generated during the manufacturing process.

'비 오는 거리에서 춤을 추자'로 많은 사랑을 받았던 김뜻돌의 첫 EP [COBALT]가 어느덧 발매 3주년을 맞는다.

코발트 앨범은 김뜻돌이 고등학교 시절 활동했던 밴드부 컨테이너실에서 탄생했다. 활동했던 밴드 세션들과 몇 날 며칠을 숙식하며 편곡 및 모든 수록곡을 녹음했다. 좋은 스튜디오를 뒤로하고 작은 밴드부실에서의 작업을 고수한 이유는 90년대 DIY 음악의 반항적인 향수를 불러일으키기 위함이었다. 제작 과정마저 '코발트'스러운 이 앨범은 한국 뿐만 아니라 해외에서도 김뜻돌을 주목하게 된 계기가 되었다.

누군가를 사랑하기 전에 내가 나를 먼저 사랑하는 것이 왜 이토록 어려운 것일까? 이제는 그 무엇보다 내가 제일 중요하다고 외치고 싶다.

3. 비 오는 거리에서 춤을 추자
갑자기 비가 내렸다. 예상치 못한 비 소식에 우산을 챙기지 못했다. 잠시 고민하다 그냥 비를 맞기로 했다. 좋아하는 노래를 들으며 빗속을 하염없이 걸었다. 도착할 때 즈음 하늘에는 무지개가 떠 있었다.

4. 비 오는 망원로
이번 앨범을 만들며 망원동에서 가장 많은 시간을 보냈다. 언젠가 다시 들으면서 그때 그 시절의 우리를 떠올리고 싶다.

5. 훨훨
보고 싶은데 보고 싶은 상대가 떠오르지 않는 밤이다. 누군가는 내 음악을 듣고 어렴풋이 나의 기도를 배게 삼아 편안히 잠들었으면 좋겠다.

2) 디스크는 정전기와 먼지로 인해 재생이 원활하지 않은 경우가 있습니다. 전용 제품으로 이를 제거하면 대부분 해결됩니다.
3) 바늘에 먼지가 쌓이는 경우에도 재생이 원활하지 않을 수 있습니다.
