LUCY 6th SingleBoogie Man appears in the dark of night, grabs someone's ankle, and drags them into the closet.
We wanted to find out from me the reason why this being chose me and came to visit me.
'To escape responsibility and find myself,
Setting aside comfort and throwing yourself into an opaque world,
'Taking a step into an unfamiliar place'
A wish list of small desires in my heart gathered together,
I hope you take me to another world I drew in the closet.
Could it be that they brought in the Boogie Man?
Track 01. Boogie Man
As much as the unconventional perspective that twisted the Boogie Man we recognize, it showed an unconventional transformation with emo-pop genre music that combines mystery instead of the coolness of the existing LUCY.
Boogie Man, as if emphasizing that I am a 'me' brought about by another desire inherent within me,
Rather than being identified as a single voice within the song, the approach is to amplify or suppress the characteristics of each vocalist.
In each part, the psychological fluctuations of agony and worry in front of the wardrobe were expressed through sudden yet natural foreshadowing and a melody and rhythm that swirled and sometimes relaxed boundaries.
The unconventional and provocative lyrics that shake the illusion of safety given by a warm blanket in the cold winter, the tense melody line of the violin, and the bass walking that seems to be creeping on you complete the mood of this song.

Rather than hoping that the world you see when you open the closet door will be beautiful, it contains encouragement and hugs for courage.
Starting with a snare sound reminiscent of a parade, like Christmas decorations, which is the finale of a 12-month journey made through 30 million moments in 4 seasons, the melody and composition that goes back and forth between three-dimensionally layered strings and percussion, variation and harmony are added. It unfolds in a cinematic mood the various emotions that must have been felt over countless hours.

Jo Won-sang's charm of using kitschy and uniquely expressed lyrics is clearly revealed, doubling the song's charm.

우리가 인식하고 있는 Boogie Man을 비틀어 낸 파격적인 시선만큼, 기존 LUCY의 청량함 대신 미스터리를 겸비한 emo-pop 장르의 음악으로 파격적인 변신을 선보였다.
Boogie Man은 내 안에 내재된 또 다른 욕망이 불러온 '나'라는 것을 강조하듯,
곡 안에서 하나의 목소리로 특정되지 않고, 보컬 개개인의 특성을 증폭하거나 우그러뜨리는 방식을 취하고 있다.
각 파트 마다 갑작스러우면서도 자연스러운 전조들, 휘몰아치다가도 때로는 느슨하게 경계를 푸는 멜로디와 리듬으로 옷장을 앞에 두고 고뇌하고 고민하는 심리적 요동을 표현하였다.
추운 겨울 따뜻한 이불이 주는 안전하다는 착각을 흔드는 파격적이고 도발적인 가사와 바이올린의 긴장감 넘치는 멜로디 라인, 마치 스멀스멀 다가오는 듯한 베이스 워킹 이 곡의 무드를 완성한다.
