지난 5월 발표한 데뷔 EP [B:COMPLETE] 이후 약 5개월 만에 그것도 꽉 찬 정규 앨범으로 돌아오는 부지런한 아티스트돌 AB6IX는 이번 앨범을 통해 딥 하우스, 힙합, 퓨처 베이스, 뭄바톤, 트랩, 알앤비, 발라드 등 다양한 장르의 음악들을 자신들만의 방식으로 이전보다 더욱 과감하고 거침없이 시도하며 눈부신 음악적 성장을 이뤄냈다.

데뷔 EP [B:COMPLETE]이 형태로서의 완전체를 선보인 앨범이라면 이번 정규 앨범 [6IXENSE]는 비로소 AB6IX만의 색깔과 음악을 완전하게 정의하고 완성하는 앨범으로, 누구나 직감적으로 좋아하고 원할 수밖에 없는 AB6IX만의 센스(SENSE) 넘치는 음악들로 가득 채운 앨범이다. 특히, [B:COMPLETE]때 보다 더욱 성숙해지고 폭넓어진 음악적 색깔은 물론, 지금까지 보여주지 않았던 AB6IX만의 감각적이고 신비로운 모습까지 보여주는 반전을 담은 컨셉 앨범이기도 하다.

또한, 이번에도 어김없이 총 11곡의 수록곡 전곡을 브랜뉴뮤직의 막강 프로듀서진과 함께 직접 작사 작곡한 완성형 아티스트돌 AB6IX는 이전과는 다르게 메인 프로듀서 이대휘 뿐만 아니라 떠오르는 신흥 작곡돌 김동현이 3곡을 만들고, 리더 임영민까지 자작곡을 선보였으며, 박우진도 보컬 유닛곡을 제외한 전곡 작사에 참여하는 등 전 멤버들이 고루 괄목할 만한 성과를 선보였다.
