If there is anything I learned from asking myself questions and wandering and sitting down,
I think it was the first thing to acknowledge my appearance as it is.
Unexpected times come like a gift
Preparing for my first solo album
The existence of “I” is not perfect, and it is a being that can never be perfect, but
I tried to bring out as truthfully as possible the stories that I can tell in my present image.
Just as I was comforted and strengthened by listening to someone's music when I was young
I would be really happy if I could be a little help to someone who listens to this album.

쉬운 일인 듯싶지만 참 어려운 일인 것 같습니다.
수많은 상황들 속에서 드러나는, 때론 나조차 몰랐던 나의 여러 가지 모습들 속에서
스스로에게 질문하고 또 방황하고 주저앉았던 시간들을 지나 배운 것이 있다면,
이런 나의 모습을 있는 그대로 먼저 인정하는 일이었던 것 같습니다.
기대하지 않던 시간들이 선물처럼 다가와
첫 솔로 앨범을 준비하면서
“나”라는 존재는 완벽하지 않고, 또 절대로 완벽해질 수는 없는 존재이지만
지금의 나의 모습 속에서 할 수 있는 이야기들을 최대한 진실되게 꺼내어 보려 노력했습니다.
제가 어릴 적 누군가의 음악을 들으며 위로받고 힘을 얻었던 것처럼
이 앨범을 들으시는 누군가에게 작은 힘이 될 수 있다면 정말 기쁠 것 같습니다.
