The movie [Pirates: The Bandit Who Went to the Sea] is a cool and pleasant movie depicting the fierce battle between Joseon's strongest thieves over the national bird that disappeared due to an unprecedented incident where a whale swallowed a national bird. Son Ye-jin, who challenged the high-level action for the first time in her life, and Kim Nam-gil, the owner of a charismatic eye of a different class, an exhilarating battle on a huge ship and licorice actors Hae-jin Lee, Kyung-young Lee, Dal-su Oh, Tae-woo Kim, Chul-min Park, Sulli, etc. The historical fact that there was no national bird in the 10 years of the founding of the Joseon Dynasty and imagination were combined to create the strongest comic action-adventure work that will make the whole nation cool and laugh in the summer of 2014.

Ahead of the founding of the Joseon Dynasty, the performance song that flows from the blood battle between Jang Sa-jeong (Kim Nam-gil) and Mo Heung-gap (Kim Tae-woo) was the title song of the album "Crimson Sea" and it was known as a performance by world-famous violist Richard Yongjae O'Neill and gathered topics. 조선건국을 앞두고 장사정(김남길)과 모흥갑(김태우)의 혈전에서 흘러나오는 연주곡은 앨범의 타이틀 곡 “Crimson Sea”로 세계적인 명성의 비올리스트 리처드 용재오닐의 연주곡으로 알려지며 화제를 모았다. 리처드 용재오닐은 비올리스트로서 그래미상 후보 지명뿐만 아니라 비올리스트로서는 드문 에버리 피셔 커리어 그랜트 상을 수상하였으며, 런던 필, LA필, BBC 심포니, 알테 무지크 쾰른 등 세계적인 무대 뿐만 아니라 국내에서 앙상블 디토와 디토 페스티벌의 음악감독으로 활약하며 대중들에게 실내악과 클래식을 소개하며 왕성한 활동중에 있다. 영화 O.S.T로는 처음 도전을 한 리처드 용재오닐은 국내외의 여러 스케줄을 소화하는 바쁜 일정에도 영화의 시나리오를 먼저 읽고 흔쾌히 참여하며 O.S.T앨범에 완성도를 높였다.
