9 members that symbolize human inner energy and 1 member (connector) that connects them. When these 10 people gather, a new “algorithm” called Nine Eyes is born and starts working normally. The algorithm presents a new perspective to the world that breaks away from stereotypes in the space of “i” (a virtual world connected to reality), the world of Nine Eyes, and dreams of a better world than now.

NINE.i, consisting of 9 Korean members (Jewon, Eden, Minjun, Ban, Berry, Seowon, Taehun, Joohyung, Jiho) and 1 Thai member (Winnie), is a First 1 group led by executives from large agencies. It is the first 10-member boy group introduced in entertainment. Even before their debut, they surprised K-pop fans at home and abroad with high-quality content and a unique identity, raising expectations for their debut.

In particular, for this album, VAHN, a member who gained popularity by showing overflowing talents in the MBC audition program 'Under Nineteen (2018)', participated in the overall album production with a passion for music, and member Joo Hyung also actively wrote lyrics and composed music. Participating, they sincerely told the story of their generation as well as themselves. 인간 내면의 에너지를 상징하는 9명의 멤버들과 이를 연결해 주는 1명의 멤버 (커넥터). 이 10명이 모였을 때 나인아이라는 새로운 “알고리즘”이 탄생하고 정상적으로 작동을 시작한다. 그 알고리즘은 나인아이의 세계인 “i”라는 공간(현실과 연결된 가상세계) 안에서 고정관념을 탈피한 새로운 관점을 세상에 제시, 이를 통해 지금보다 더 나은 세상을 꿈꾼다.

9명의 한국인 멤버(제원, 이든, 민준, 반, 베리, 서원, 태훈, 주형, 지호)와 1명의 태국인 멤버(위니)로 구성된 나인아이(NINE.i)는 대형기획사 출신의 임직원들이 이끄는 퍼스트원 엔터테인먼트에서 처음으로 선보이는 10인조 보이그룹이다. 데뷔 전부터 고퀄리티의 콘텐츠들과 독특한 정체성으로 국내외 K-POP 팬들을 놀라게 하며 데뷔에 대한 기대감을 높였다.

특히, 이번 앨범에는 MBC 오디션 프로그램 '언더나인틴(2018)'에서 넘치는 끼를 보여주며 인기를 끌었던 멤버 반(VAHN)이 음악에 대한 열정으로 전체적인 앨범 프로듀싱에 참여하였고 멤버 주형도 작사, 작곡에 적극적으로 참여하며 자신들은 물론 같은 세대의 이야기를 진정성 있게 풀어냈다. 여기에 아이즈원(IZ*ONE) '비올레타', 'FIESTA', 박진영 '어머님이 누구니', 트와이스(TWICE) 'SIGNAL' 등 수많은 히트곡을 선보이며 한국의 대표적인 K-POP 프로듀서로 꼽히는 '김승수'가 전격 합류하여 완성도를 높였으며 나인아이(NINE.i) 멤버들의 재능을 끌어내는데 적극적으로 지원 사격하며 '브리티쉬 팝'과 K-POP의 콜라보를 통해 기존에 보여주지 않았던 음악적 색깔을 찾아냈다.
