정밀아는 두 번째 정규음반 [은하수]를 통해 ‘나’에게 향해있던 시선을 외부로 옮겨와 ‘너와 우리’를 이야기 한다. 그저 관망이나 부유에 그치지 않고, 단단한 걸음으로 삶을 오롯이 관통하며 만난 세상과 사람들을 노래에 담았다.

1집[그리움도 병] 이후 만 3년 만에 발표한 10곡 안에는 만남과 헤어짐, 시간과 계절, 어린시절, 고단 했던 하루, 사랑 등 일상의 단편들이 나열되어 있다. 재촉이나 유난 없이 나름의 속도로 음악가가 걸어온 시공간을 담담히 그려내고 있다. 그 걸음의 끝에서는 작은 별들이 반짝이는 밤하늘을 올려다보는 듯 삶과 죽음에 대한 성찰의 의지도 엿보인다. 가만히 듣고 있노라면 시선과 마음이 따라가다가 어느새 겸허해지는 것을 느끼게 되는데, 이것이 따뜻함과 부드러움 속에 흔들림 없이 자리하고 있는 정밀아 음악의 무게감일 테다.
1집과 싱글‘꽃’ 발표를 통해 각종 어워드에 이름을 올리며 포크싱어송라이터로의 입지를 굳혀가고 있는 정밀아는, 이번 2집 역시 전곡 작곡과 작사(10트랙 제외), 편곡, 프로듀싱, 디자인 등 모든 과정을 직접 해 내었으며, 보컬과 연주에 이르기까지 한층 더 향상된 음악적 역량을 당차게 증명해 내고 있다. 전작에서 부터 돋보이던 어쿠스틱 사운드는 여전히 풍성하게 살아있는 동시에, 소리의 비움과 채움의 적절한 배치로 각 트랙의 긴장을 유지하고 있다. 시와 같은 노랫말들은 그 깊이를 더했다. 또한 각각의 곡이 ‘부르는 노래’로서 충실히 기능하고 있어, 청자는 어느새 듣는 이의 말과 마음이 되어버린 그녀의 노래를 함께 부르고 있을지도 모를 일이다.
