A pure and mysterious girl group WJSN invites you to the fairytale-like world of 'Neverland'. From 'La La Love', which showed an alluring look against the background of a carnival and circus, to 'Boogie Up', a summer song that hit the summer coolly, to 'Iruri', which exuded powerful energy and strong girl crush, the group made a strong impression with various variations. This is their new story. Also, 'Neverland' is a story that represents the feelings of the current WJSN members. They adapted a page of the fairy tale to add their own storytelling, and tell the 'adult fairy tale' that is never light. The confused mind that a girl goes through in the process of becoming an adult, and the rite of passage, are at the center of the story. It is a new song that can only be heard at this moment, when even the process of pain will be beautifully remembered.

WJSN's 'Neverland' contains the affectionate heart of a girl who dreams of true freedom, even if it is not flashy. Neverland after Peter Pan left, the world of dreams and reality seen from the point of view of Tinkerbell, who was left alone, and a fairy tale-like story unfolding in it. When a new story was developed on top of the familiar original work, another world of WJSN that everyone could relate to was revealed. It is a visual fantasy that only WJSN can show because it is gorgeous, pure, and mysterious. The clear setting encompassing music, styling, video, and performance is more subdivided and specific. The elements planted here and there give enough interest and fun, and the dramaticness doubles. With a unique world view and colorful concept that all of these things are harmonized, it will show the aspect of a space girl who has grown a bit more.

And in the midst of that anxiety, he repeats uncertain choices and wages a fierce war for freedom so as not to become weak. Through this song, Cosmic Girls wanted to convey their commitment not to give up hope, even if the fairy tale in their imagination does not match reality.

순수하고 신비로운 걸그룹 우주소녀가 동화 같은 세계 ‘네버랜드(Neverland)’로 초대한다. 카니발과 서커스를 배경으로 고혹적인 모습을 드러냈던 ‘La La Love’부터 여름을 시원하게 강타한 썸머송 ‘Boogie Up’, 파워풀한 에너지와 강렬한 걸크러쉬를 뿜어낸 ‘이루리’까지, 다채로운 변주로 강렬한 인상을 남겼던 그들의 새로운 이야기다. 또 ‘네버랜드’는 현재 우주소녀 멤버들의 마음을 대변하는 이야기이기도 하다. 동화의 한 페이지를 각색해 그들만의 스토리텔링을 더했고, 결코 가볍지 않은 ‘어른들의 동화’를 들려준다. 소녀가 어른이 되어가는 과정에서 겪는 혼란스러운 마음, 그 통과의례를 오롯이 이야기의 중심에 놓았다. 아픔의 과정 마저 아름답게 기억될, 지금 이 순간에만 들려줄 수 있는 새 노래다.

멤버 엑시와 설아의 높은 앨범 참여도 역시 눈에 띈다. 엑시는 전곡 랩 메이킹과 함께 자작곡 ‘불꽃놀이 (Tra-la)’를, 설아는 자작곡 ‘우리의 정원 (Our Garden)’을 수록했다. 엑시는 그간 여러 자작곡을 선보이며 다채로운 스펙트럼을 뽐냈고, 팀의 메인보컬인 설아는 데뷔 이래 첫 자작곡을 수록해 우주소녀의 더욱 탄탄해진 역량을 기대케 한다.
