Jennie's first solo full-length album, <Ruby>, is an album that contains Jennie's colors, showing off her diverse musical talents and charms. She plans to showcase Jennie's musical potential as a solo artist through songs of various genres and concepts.

The concept for the album began with the line, "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players," from Shakespeare's comedy "As You Like It," which captures JENNIE's diversity as she plays musical characters suited to each field and genre.

The album title <Ruby> is taken from Jennie's middle name, and was intended to clearly express her own color. Since the album's concept originated from a play, the red curtains that open each act symbolize a new beginning.

This album, <Ruby>, consists of a total of 15 tracks and was produced in collaboration with world-class artists such as British pop star Dua Lipa, Donald Glover's musical alter ego Childish Gambino, rappers Doechii and Dominic Fike, French musician FKJ, and singer-songwriter Kali Uchis.
